| Information: | From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jan Tausinger (1 November 1921 in Piatra NeamÅ£ – 29 July 1980 in Prague) was a Romania-born ethnic Czech violist, conductor and composer. Tausinger studied composition at the Bucharest Conservatory as a pupil of Dimitrie Cuclin and Mihail Jora. Later, he continued his studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with Pavel BoÅ™kovec and Alois Hába. From 1948 to 1952 he studies also conducting with Metod Doležil and Karel AnÄerl. |
