Jean-Babtiste Ganaye (1870-1946) wrote his quattuor in f in 1931. It is now and then availible in the second hand musicshops. His music has great originality. It has some russian sound, but stands in the rich french romantic tradition. The quartet is a very good piece. It is concise and full of rich melodies. It stands yet in the late-romantic tradition. It has three movements. All three very rich indeed. Strongly recommended.
