Sheet music

An important goal of compilating this list is to those who are looking for special compositions to give, if possible, a clue where to find the notes. There is if possible an indication of the publisher of the music. In the item "pecularities" you will find other clues to the whereabouts of the notes. The names mentioned there, as Lang, JAH (Hollanders) and RCG (Gisolf) have the sheetmusic or a copy in possesion. The indication "Br&vP" refers to the firm Broekmans & van Poppel, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, a large supplier of sheetmusic. Cobbett means: it is mentioned in the Cobbett Library ( http://www.cobbettassociation.org/ ). For french music there is the Biblothèque National, where you can order also copies ( http://www.bnf.fr/ ). For Germany there is Das Deutsche Komponistenarchiv in Dresden (DDK)

There are some sites, where you can download the score and parts of a quartet, as imslp (Petrucci). They are mentionned under the heading "pecularities".
